If the cavity has affected the tooth structure, it must be completely removed, as well as old, poor fillings where cavities may appear at the edges or under the filling. In certain situations, such as deep cavities, tooth fractures, or traumatic occlusion, inflammation or infection of the dental pulp (nerve) may occur. In these cases, endodontic therapy and tooth treatment are required.
Contact UsAfter removing decayed tooth tissue or completing endodontic therapy (root canal treatment), the tooth needs to be restored. If the defect is small, a composite filling is placed on the tooth. For larger defects, the tooth should be reinforced with posts or crowns.

Dental tartar is a hard, mineralized deposit of dental plaque. It is yellowish in color and darkens over time. It most commonly appears on the inner surfaces of lower front teeth and the outer surfaces of upper molars. Tartar is removed using an ultrasonic device with the appropriate tip of various sizes. Local anesthesia is usually required, as mild sensitivity may occur in the cervical area of the teeth and lasts briefly, for the duration of the procedure.
After tartar removal, it is necessary to polish the teeth with an abrasive paste and a rotating brush.
