Root canal treatment is a conservative method of treating pulp (nerve) disease of the tooth. These therapeutic procedures prevent tooth extraction. It is performed under anesthesia and is not painful for patients. After proper cleaning, the root canal system is permanently sealed with appropriate materials, after which a composite filling or crown is placed on the tooth. Root canal treatment can be performed traditionally - where the nerve removal and canal cleaning are done with manual instruments - reamers and files.
This method of treating the tooth ensures faster, more comfortable, and higher quality work. It is performed using machine-driven rotating instruments of various taper.
In addition to traditional canal treatment, we also use a laser, which sterilizes the canal and eliminates microorganisms from it. In very curved canals, thanks to its elastic fibers, it reaches all parts of the canal system and cleans the entire length of the canal.
